Oman and Rwanda have taken significant steps to bolster their economic and diplomatic relations by signing two key agreements and six memoranda of understanding (MoUs). These accords were formalized during the official visit of Rwandan President Paul Kagame to Oman, specifically in the city of Salalah. Central to these agreements is the mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports, alongside a commitment to eliminate double taxation between the two nations.
The memoranda of understanding span a diverse array of sectors crucial to fostering bilateral cooperation. They include agriculture, logistics, land and dry-port development, supply chain services, investment promotion, and labor cooperation.
