During a two-day official visit to Türkiye, Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at Ankara Airport. The meeting occurred as President Erdoğan was preparing to leave for an official trip to Qatar. The gathering was also attended by key Turkish officials, including Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, and National Intelligence Organization Director Ibrahim Kalın.
Field Marshal Munir’s visit underscores the ongoing efforts by Türkiye and Pakistan to bolster their strategic partnership, with a particular emphasis on defense cooperation.
