Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the robust and longstanding partnership between Pakistan and China during a ceremony in Islamabad commemorating China’s National Day. Sharif emphasized that the bilateral relationship is founded on mutual trust, cooperation, and support.
In his address, the Prime Minister lauded China’s economic achievements and national development, underscoring the significance that Pakistan places on its ties with Beijing. He highlighted the forthcoming 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations in 2026 as a milestone of great importance.
Sharif praised the resilience of the friendship between Pakistan and China, noting that both countries have consistently supported each other through major challenges, including natural disasters. He stressed the enduring significance of bilateral cooperation and the depth of the ties between the two countries.
