The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of recent Iranian attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, labeling them as a significant threat to the stability and security of the region. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized these acts as blatant violations of the sovereignty of neighboring countries, while reiterating its unwavering support for the affected nations.
In addition to condemning the attacks on these countries, the UAE also expressed concern over strikes targeting Iraq’s Kurdistan region, cautioning that such actions could lead to further destabilization in the area. The situation in the Middle East remains tense, with ongoing military exchanges involving Iran and the United States contributing to the rising tensions.
Reports from Kuwaiti officials indicated that an Iranian strike had targeted a power and water desalination facility, resulting in a fire and causing substantial damage to several units responsible for electricity generation. Meanwhile, Jordan’s military confirmed that its air defense systems had successfully intercepted and destroyed three Iranian missiles that breached the country’s airspace, with no casualties or damage reported.
Similarly, Bahrain’s armed forces announced that they had managed to intercept and neutralize multiple aerial threats originating from Iran. These developments highlight the growing concerns over regional security as the Middle East grapples with the implications of these aggressive actions.
