As Jordan approaches its 80th Independence Day, the nation’s commitment to strengthening ties with Qatar remains a focal point. Jordanian Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani underscored the enduring and robust relationship between the two countries, emphasizing their mutual dedication to enhancing cooperation across various sectors.

Momani pointed out Jordan’s appreciation for its partnership with Qatar, with intentions to bolster collaboration in political, economic, and developmental arenas. Reflecting on the journey since its independence, Momani highlighted Jordan’s steadfast commitment to supporting significant Arab causes, notably the Palestinian issue. He also reaffirmed Jordan’s role in protecting Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, underscoring the country’s dedication to regional stability and resilience despite ongoing challenges.
